Academic Discussion Days Continue Every Friday at the Faculty of Law

13.05.2026

As part of the academic activities conducted within our faculty, every Friday, presentations are given to faculty members by one research assistant from each of the Private Law and Public Law departments.

These events contribute to the sharing of our young academics’ work, the development of an academic discussion culture, and increased interdisciplinary interaction.

In this context, on 8 May 2026:

Res. Assist. Başak BERKÜN, from the Department of Public Law / Division of Philosophy and Sociology of Law, delivered a presentation titled “Harm Reduction Policy and Drug Consumption Rooms: The German Model.”

Umay Ece TECİMEL, Research Assistant in the Department of Private Law / Department of Civil Procedure, Enforcement and Bankruptcy Law, delivered a presentation titled “The Introduction of Special Commercial Courts as a New Regulation in German Law”.

We thank all our members with the hope that these valuable contributions will continue to contribute to the academic development of our faculty.
