Summer School
Prof. Dr. Henning ROSENAU organizes a summer school at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, lasting several weeks each year. The best students of the first year can take part in the summer school, which is funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The goal of the program is to deepen legal and language skills, as well as to train students for comparative and cross-border legal studies. For this, various teaching formats are offered in which students are given the opportunity to discuss cases in groups and to learn the methods of legal science. In addition, a number of excursions are organized to enable students to understand the function and practice of the German judiciary system and the cultural history of Germany. Moreover, students are fully integrated into student life during their stay in Halle; they receive a library and campus tour and full access to the architecturally impressive Juridicum and law library so that they are able to review the material learned in the courses.
