Academic Discussion Days Continue Every Friday at the Faculty of Law
20.05.2026
As part of the academic activities conducted within our faculty, every Friday, presentations are given to faculty members by one research assistant from each of the Private Law and Public Law departments.
These events contribute to the sharing of our young academics’ work, the development of an academic discussion culture, and increased interdisciplinary interaction.
In this context, on 15 May 2026:
Research Assistant Nurdan Özçelik of the Department of Public Law / Chair of General Public Law delivered a presentation entitled “The Duty of Loyalty of Judges and Public Prosecutors.”
Research Assistant Eylül Yağmur Coşan of the Department of Public Law / Division of International Law delivered a presentation entitled “Peremptory Norms in International Law (Jus Cogens / zwingendes Recht) and the Human Rights Falling Within Their Scope.”
We thank all our members with the hope that these valuable contributions will continue to contribute to the academic development of our faculty.
