Conference on "Sports Betting and Match-Fixing"

The conference titled “Sports Betting and Match-Fixing,” on the topic of sports betting in Turkish and German law, organized by the Department of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law of our Faculty, was held on Tuesday, March 25, 2026, between 14:30 and 16:30 in the Conference Hall of the School of Foreign Languages (YDYO). Presentations on the topic of sports betting in Turkish and German law were delivered at the conference. Dr. Kazım Furkan Ağkuş addressed “The Offense of Match-Fixing in Turkish Law,” while Assoc. Prof. Dr. Joachim Kretschmer discussed “The Offense of Betting in German Law.”
