EUROPEAN COUNCIL HELP TRAINING OPENING MEETING HELD

Our university, in cooperation between the European Council (EC) Human Rights Training Programme for Legal Professionals (HELP) Unit and the Ministry of Justice Human Rights Directorate, held the opening meetings for HELP courses on “Introduction to the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) and the European Court of Human Rights” and “Admissibility Criteria for Applications to the ECtHR” for Faculty of Law students on 19 February 2026. The online meeting was attended by the Director of the Department, Dr. Muhammed Taha BÜYÜKTAVŞAN, Investigating Judge Fethullah SOYUBELLİ, Investigating Judge Ramazan TEKİN, and Associate Professor Dr. Esra Yılmaz EREN, who delivered opening speeches.
Through these training sessions, our Faculty of Law students will be able to participate in courses within the HELP system, thereby enhancing their expertise in the field of human rights and gaining the opportunity to obtain a Council of Europe certificate.
