Şeyma Zehiroğlu, Bachelor 2019, Research Assistant - Turkish-German University
I completed my undergraduate education at the Faculty of Law of the Turkish-German University in 2019 as a high honour student. After graduation, I started my legal internship and received my lawyer's license in 2020. In the law firm where I did my internship, I had the opportunity to work in many areas of law, especially in labour law. In 2020, I started the master's programme in private law at the Turkish-German University. The education at the Turkish-German University enabled me to learn the terminology of Turkish and German law. In this way, I am able to identify the differences and similarities between the Turkish and German legal systems and conduct academic research and studies in the context of comparative law. As someone who enjoys reading, researching, and writing, I am continuing my career in the academic field. Since 2022, I have been working as a research assistant at the Department of Labour and Social Security Law at the Turkish-German University. I think that Turkish-German University is the right place especially for those who want to pursue an academic career.
