The training was conducted to increase the effectiveness of the internal control system, ensure that the risk management process is adopted by all employees, and raise awareness among staff.

The meeting began with an opening speech by Associate Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Tolga Özer. Özer emphasized the importance of internal control in terms of institutional functioning and stressed the need for the active participation of all personnel in the process.

Three separate presentations were made at our faculty as part of the training:

not acting based on immediate desires and interests, focusing on long-term truths,
universalizing actions based on principles and
ensuring consistency, and acting with ethical responsibility by considering the consequences of decisions and behaviors.

Arıkan emphasized that ethical behavior is not merely about following rules, but rather a conscious and responsible decision-making process.
