Academic Visit of Our Faculty to Germany
The faculty members and research assistants of our Department of Civil Procedure and Enforcement-Bankruptcy Law visited the city of Bonn, Germany, within the scope of the scientific research project titled "Two Countries with Different Views on Mandatory Pre-Suit Conciliation: Turkey and Germany (A Comparative Study on Problems, Trends, and Solutions)."

Academic Visit of Our Faculty to Japan
The faculty members and research assistants of our Civil Procedure and Bankruptcy Law Department delivered lectures on "The Development of Turkish Civil Procedure Law and the Impact of Digitalization on Judicial Processes" during their visit to Japan at prestigious universities such as Rikkyo University in Tokyo, Kanto Gakuin University in Yokohama, and Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto. These lectures were attended not only by students but also by numerous academics as listeners.
Faculty of Law Courtroom Opening Ceremony
With the participation of our Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal YILDIZ, the Opening Ceremony of the Faculty of Law Courtroom was held on 11 December 2024, and a representative hypothetical trial was held by the students of the Faculty of Law with the organisation of the Faculty of Law Department of Criminal and Criminal Procedure Law.
Faculty of Law Academic General Assembly Meeting
On 10 December 2024, the Academic General Assembly Meeting of the Faculty of Law was held.
Our faculty member, Derya Nur Kayacan, has been invited as a lecturer as part of the Flying Faculty for the Europa-Institut of Saarland University.
Derya Nur Kayacan, who is an assistant professor under the Chair of Public International Law at our faculty, was invited by the Europa-Institut of Saarland University to give the lecture “Introduction to Public International Law” as part of the master’s program “European and International Law (LL.M.)”. During the week-long intensive courses, the fundamental subjects of international law were covered and discussed in class with students from approximately 40 different countries.

In the meeting organized by the Constitutional Court of the German State of Nordrhein-Westfalen (Münster) and Düsseldorf Regional Labor Courts on 11.11.2024 with the attendance of Italian United Nations Judge Francesco Buffa and Turkish German University Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Law Prof. Dr. H. Özden Özkaya-Ferendeci, the participants first visited the photo exhibition prepared by Dr. Gilbert, Director of the Cologne Regional Labor Courts within the other members of the Constitutional Court, and then visited the Düsseldorf Regional Labor Court for academic cooperation.

Visit of Law Interns at the High Court of Hamburg to Our Faculty
A group of legal interns who are doing their internship at the Hamburg High Court visited our faculty on October 23, 2024, on a scientific trip. During their visit, our faculty dean Prof. Dr. Hamide Özden Özkaya-Ferendeci also attended, and a presentation was made by Asst. Prof. Ahmet Batuhan Oyal regarding our university, faculty and the legal education system in Turkey. After the presentation, our event was concluded with campus and library tours.
Dean's Handover Ceremony was held at the Faculty of Law
The dean’s handover ceremony at the Faculty of Law of our university was held on 28 August 2024 with the participation of our Rector Prof. Dr. Cemal Yıldız. Prof. Dr. Ali Kemal Yıldız handed over the deanship to Prof. Dr. Hamide Özden Özkaya-Ferendeci at the ceremony.
